"Love Wins" wins Best Documentary- Indie Street Film Festival, Red Bank New Jersey

I am so proud to announce that "Love Wins" has won Best Documentary Short in the Indie Street Film Festival held in the city of Red Bank New Jersey earlier this month. (July)

With submissions from around the globe, the festival's official selections were narrowed down to over 300 films. And our little film took highest honors in the category.

At an awards ceremony held at the Count Basie Theater, I was honored to accept the award on the theater's historic stage along with the stars of the film, Jan Moore and Emily Sonnessa before a crowd of proud filmmakers and film fans.

I hope that this is just the beginning of this journey, as my goal, as you all know, is to tell this important story to as many people as possible. Jan and Emily are pioneers. Thankfully, the oppression that they lived is now history. But these stories need to be remembered so it never happens again.
